1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Cysta: PCOS Weight Loss (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Cysta is operated by Mael Halna, a micro-enterprise registered under RCS 891 414 138, located in France.

2. Service Description

Cysta is a PCOS-focused wellness application that provides the following features:

• Personalized PCOS profile identification (insulin-resistant, inflammatory, adrenal, or post-pill) with educational explanations.
• AI-powered meal scanning with PCOS-specific scoring tailored to your hormonal profile.
• Weekly meal suggestions matched to your PCOS type and dietary preferences.
• Daily symptom tracking (energy, bloating, cravings, skin) with trend analysis.
• Weight tracking with 7-day rolling average.
• Step counting via Apple HealthKit integration.
• Calorie and macro tracking as a secondary metric.

3. Health Disclaimer

Cysta is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition, including Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).

The App provides general wellness and educational features for informational purposes only. The PCOS profile classification, meal scores, nutritional estimates, and meal suggestions generated by the App are based on general patterns and should not be considered medical advice.

You should always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any diet or weight loss program, especially if you have PCOS or any other health condition, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking medication.

The AI-powered meal scanner provides estimates of nutritional content and PCOS scores that may not be perfectly accurate. You should not rely solely on these estimates for managing medical dietary requirements.

The PCOS profile types presented in the App (insulin-resistant, inflammatory, adrenal, post-pill) are simplified categories for educational purposes and do not replace a clinical diagnosis from a qualified healthcare provider.

4. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Cysta. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the App, including meal photos, symptom logs, and personal data. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services to you.

Meal photos submitted for AI scanning are not permanently stored on our servers. The text results (food name, macros, PCOS score, explanation) are stored in your account.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Cysta offers subscription-based access to premium features, including the AI meal scanner. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions for in-app purchases.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, content, and branding, is the intellectual property of Mael Halna and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cysta and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or health outcomes, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results obtained from use of the App will be accurate or reliable. The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
